Makeup Inspired by. . ..

Hey dollies! I am back with another tutorial, the theme to this is just - pretty n pink. And in simple 5 steps just as always. Hope you like it!

Step 1. Choose a hairstyle and haircolour, add fake lashes and have your basic layout all ready... and the do the simple steps below...

Add a bit of blusher, I did it in a circle, to make it look cute... you can do it however you want (obviously!)

Now add a light shade of pink eyeshadow above the eyes, and add mascara, and also outline both eyes with liquid eyeliner.

Now the last step - add a light shade of pink lipstick to your medoll's lips. Any shade of pink will do but I think this light one looks best..

And now you have this simple, cute, pretty, pink look above. Its non superstar hair, maybe some non superstars have a few of these items and can achieve this look! Now all you need to do is add a few accessories and voila! Hope you like it!

Make-Up Tip

Hey all you awesome people that are reading this :) This weeks post is inspired by none other than... HARRY POTTER!!! As it is the last movie to hit big screens (my boggart is the known fact that this is all over - and I can't Ridikkulus it because you just can't make the fact funny) I thought I'd do a tribute to it. As you probably all know, Harry Potter is based on wizards, and their main colours are usually dark and mysterious. So here it comes:

The make-up I used:

The eyes are based on the night sky... Work your way with your darker colours to the edges of the eyes, lighter towards your dolls nose. Add mascara, liquid eye-liner and pencil eye-liner as well.

The cheeks are slightly rosy, but don't go full on with the blush.

The lips are your choice, any colour except bright colours like neons will do. I used a darker plummy-pink.

Accessorise and there is your Harry Potter themed MeDoll!
I hope you all enjoy Harry Potter, because I sure did (I saw it on the 13th) and don't cry like I did (the whole way through - yes, I cried when the Warner Bros. logo came up and then even more when it said: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow Part 2. I also stayed in the cinema until all the credits had finished and was still crying in the car on the way home. No, I'm not a cry-baby, I'm just a very emotional person.) I'm going to try see it again this weekend.

Lots of love from the Harry Potter freak,
LauKalPai/Lauren

Make-Up Tip

Hey again readers!

This week for my post I was inspired by one of my really good friends from matric who went to her prom. She wore a beautiful purple dress and the make-up! OMG I wanted to cry she was so beautiful. So this weeks post, I tried to copy her make-up.

I used the following make-up:

For the eyes, I only used purples and white. Apply the darkest purple at the corner of the outer eye and slowly work inwards getting lighter and lighter. Fin
ally, apply the white right at the crook between the eye and nose.

I used the same colour blushes as last week, but slightly differently. The light pink was applied in the largest area. Then the neutral, and then the darker pink.

Lips were done with done with some lipgloss I recieved when I signed up for a club, but any purplely colour should do the trick, even if it's a preset. Give some sheen with with some clear gloss.

And that is it! I gave my girl a bit more of a hippy look, but that make-up could go with any outfit!
So that's my post for this week. I'd really like it if you could give suggestions to what type of make-up you'd like to see in my future posts.

Love,
Lauren/LauKalPai

Hey Readers!

Hey readers!

I'm a new writer for Saloon Stardoll, and this is my first t
ime posting for a blog. I'm super excited. But in order for me to improve my posts, I need you to tell me what I can add. First, here's a bit of infor about me:

My name is Lauren and I am currently living in South Africa. I attend a high school where I board in the hostel. So I can only really post on weekends... M
y hobbies include playing piano, singing, listening to music and playing on my computer. My Stardoll user name is LauKalPai. So you can either call me Lauren or LauKalPai, I don't mind. :) I will be doing make-up tips for Saloon Stardoll, since I am a SuperStar.

So here goes my first post:

Today I thought that I'd start wit something simple,
but striking.

I used the following make-up:

For the eyes, I layered the eyeshadow from darkest to lightest from the outside inwards. I aslo added eyeliner and mascara. For the cheeks, I put my neutral colour on the largest area, and my darker shades upwards and towards the sides. The lips are the easiest part. A bright pink with a bit of gloss over it does the trick. Add your accessories and voile! You have easily done, hip, funky make-up! Wow, I can't believe I just finished my first post! I'm looking forward to what all you awesome Stardolls are going to say about it!

Love, Lauren/LauKalPai
